Customs Manager (CM) is the only Customs software package that combines frontier Imports and Exports for all CSPs with comprehensive Duty Management and Customs Procedures with Economic Impact (CPEI).

For this reason, Customs Manager is being used by most of the major ‘Corporate’ forwarders, who previously were using a multiplicity of different frontier and inland Customs packages.

Customs Manager is a modular package, whereby each module can run ‘standalone’ but shares the same Visual FoxPro (VFP) database. Because VFP is being phased out by Microsoft and further harmonisation of EU Customs makes a pan-European Customs system possible, Customs Manager is being gradually replaced by our Integrated Customs for Europe (ICE) software for ‘Corporate’ forwarders, Customs Brokers and Traders and by NetFreight for ‘Independent’ forwarders looking for a combined freight management and frontier Customs system.

Integrated Customs for Europe (ICE) has been designed specifically for multi-national, ‘Corporate’ forwarders wishing to standardise on a single Customs solution throughout Europe for both frontier and inland Customs, and is therefore both multi-country and multi-lingual.

ICE can also be used by Customs Brokers and Traders.

Most of the major ‘Corporate’ forwarders already use Customs Manager (CM) in the UK, so upgrading to ICE will not only provide a painless migration to a more robust SQL platform but also provide the opportunity for other European branch offices to save costs on their respective Customs systems, as well as being able to provide pan-European Customs reports for their clients.

ICE is both Windows and web-based, and for companies using NetFreight for freight management and frontier Customs, the SFD can automatically be transferred to ICE in order to initiate the SDI for CFSP.

Because it is web-based forwarding software, uses a robust SQL database and can be used multi-lingual, NetFreight is ideal for large, multi-national global forwarders wishing to replace their legacy software with a modern forwarding software package, or save the high cost of terminal server systems required by Windows-based software.

NetFreight is also suitable for single and multi-branch national forwarders, as it also runs on the free MS SQL Express licence.

The main advantage of NetFreight over all other Windows, Unix and AS400 based freight software, is that it can be accessed any time from anywhere in the world, from any web-enabled device, including the iPad and iPhone.
